States With Most Super Bowl LIX Players

Fact Checked by Nate Hamilton

With the Kansas City Chiefs on the precipice of NFL history, it’s worth wondering which of the team’s players are homegrown, with the Show-Me State being one of the top producers of professional football talent over the decades in the 32-team league.

This year, two players from the state of Missouri (Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Tershawn Wharton) hail from the state, with both suiting up for the two-time defending champs from Kansas City, with Anudike-Uzomah playing as a defensive end while Wharton is a defensive tackle.

As for the Big Game itself, oddsmakers from DraftKings Sportsbook currently have the Chiefs down as a -130 moneyline favorite in Super Bowl LIX, with K.C. listed as a 1.5-point spread favorite right now, with an over/under of 49.5 in the Big Easy.

Utilizing SportsIllustrated.com’s official active roster for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, we took a break from Missouri sports betting updates to determine the states that will be represented in Super Bowl LIX. 97 players were on both active rosters.
