What Is the Best Ballpark to Catch a Game This Season?

Fact Checked by Nate Hamilton

When it comes to quality ballparks to watch some MLB action, one of the best options in the nation sits right in the backyard of the Crossroads, with Kansas City Royals' Kauffman Stadium posting solid scores across a host of baseball-related metrics in 2025.

The ballpark, which is the fifth oldest in the league (built in 1973), scored 29 points across the metrics used for this story, ranking behind baseball palaces like Minneapolis’ Target Field (16 points), Miami’s LoanDepot Park (21 points), Seattle’s T-Mobile Park (23 points) and Denver’s Coors Field (28 points).

As Spring Training kicks off this week and is about a month until Opening Day, BetMissouri.com paused its Missouri sports betting coverage to figure out what ballpark was the best location to catch a game this upcoming season. Factoring in stadium atmosphere rankings from USA Today, along with average ticket and concession prices, we created a scoring system to see which ballpark is the best to catch a game. Lower prices for concessions and tickets favored better for ballparks, while higher atmosphere rankings was better for the location.
